Bronze vase, texture & patina

This bronze vase is hammered by hand from a single disc of bronze metal. Through multiple rounds of hammering and annealing the vase is slowly raised from a flat sheet to a volumetric form. This vase is left with a heavy surface texture created during the forming process and has a darkened patina.
